Is it weird? Hispanic name for non-Hispanic family

Question

My husband and I like the name Rosaléna for our daughter, but neither of us are Hispanic. Is that weird? I would use the spelling without the accented e, but I want the pronunciation to be rosa-layna, not a rosa-leena. What are your thoughts?

No. It's all good.  Most of us have names from other countries anyway.

I say go for it. Some names have more then one origin... It could be Spanish or Italian as well

Go for it! My SO is Hispanic and has an American name, haha. I think there are many lovely names from other cultures--no reason to not use it!

There are many women named Maria and Rosa I've seen and many are white..Maria is a Hispanic name and so is Rosa! Lol it's okay... Name your daughter whatever you want as long as you like it.

I think it's a gorgeous name, and if you like it, go for it! My mother in law and her family are not Hispanic and her name is Juanita.
