Guy not ready i guess.... ?

Question

I've been with my partner for 4 years and 6 months already, we have a 1yr and 7months baby.. We live together, We have problems as any other couple, we have a good happy life even more now that my  baby girl is with us! But now i've been thinking about.. 
​He has never proposed me, maybe he is scared or just not ready to get marry, it confuses me in what if he really doesn't love me ? 
​I see all this couples either engaged or married.   
Is it just me or any other similar experiences?

It took us 7 years to marry. It never meant he loved me any less. In fact many of my married friends were openly envious of our good dynamic because he and I are so close. We eloped this year and I'm glad we waited. We are so comfortable with each other and confident in our relationship. Talk to him, but don't push it. If he's living with you and you're raising a baby and you're happy together, let this good thing profess naturally.

I had been with my SO almost 10 years before we got married and we had a 7 year old son. It was me not him though. It just wasn't something that was important to me. We already had a kid and owned a house and two cars together so to me it was just a waste of money and time. But he eventually talked me into it and I am happy that we did it. Just be open with each other and talk about it.

My first daughters dad and I had been together for 4 years before we had her the relationship was rocky before we had a lot of separations after it was mostly good I pushed him to marry he purposed and we split up a month before the wedding I say let him do it on his own time it was a mistake to push for me
