Has anyone taken progesterone?

My cycles have been around 47 days lately and my doctor suggested taking progesterone to regulate my period so that I ovulate at the correct time each month.  She said you can get pregnant while taking it. Has anyone taken this? Any thoughts about it?

I take it as well.  The kind I take is rather messy, causes bloating, and mild acne.  It does regulate your period and if, like me, you have low progesterone it will help you stay pregnant once you become pregnant.

Ive taken it multiple times due to irregular menses. I didnt have any side effects and the medication worked really well.

I take it when I become pregnant. But never before ! Made me super sick and tired when I was Prego.

I took it 2 months ago to regulate my periods after a MC and here I am 7 weeks pregnant with my rainbow baby 🙏🏼😀
