Does anyone else get super emotional on their period?

For instance, my boyfriend lives in my parents basement. And I snuck down and sat on the stairs and watched him put his clothes away. When he noticed me he said "you're weird" so nonchalantly. He didn't even sound like he was kidding at all. For some reason it got me upset. 
Is anyone else like this? Lol
