How do I know if I'm leaking fluid?

37 Weeks. My discharge has increased quite a bit but it's not quite the same, it's more watery and completely clear and almost scent less. 
If I were leaking, even at a slow rate, is it dangerous for my baby at this time?

If you lie down for awhile and then stand up and that gets you all wet, it's probably your water. If it stays the same no matter what position you're in, it's probably just discharge.

I would get checked just in case. If it leaks and no one is aware it can lead to infection.

When my fluid leaked it initial felt like pee but it came out after i was finished peeing. Another time it was cloudy with white specks in it. Either way Definitely get checked and do not brush it off and Take it easy and stay off your feet if you think it is a slow leak. I had a slow leak at 37 weeks it was kinda cloudy and came before I had went pee it was weird but I brushed it off. That night I also started having slight contractions steady but not super painful. I called my doc to let him know it was time and I had a little leak again the next morning but it came out after I was none peeing. By that point he contractions had kind of subsided. I went to the hospital later that day just in case. "I originally was just going to walk around the hospital grounds to get the baby in place" this was on a Sunday evening around 5pm. I instead decided to register at the delivery department that way I would not have to do it later on while in serious labor. The nurses ended up guilting me into getting checked just in case only to tell me everything was fine and there were no signs of a fluid leak. Fast forward to Tuesday and I was having an emergency C-section because my fluid had leaked causing the cord to wrap around my daughters neck and make her 1st poop before she was born.
