Do dollar store tests really work??

Question

So I am late on my period so I bought a couple tests just from the dollar tree.   I took one last night and it was invalid.  Took the second one today and it's positive.   The test was only $1 so idk if it actually works or not?? Going to get a more expensive one today but just wanted your advice

Don't waste your money on the expensive ones please. I have always used the dollar ones from dollar tree and they worked and are accurate.

The test the doctors offices use come from the same manufacturer as the dollar store test.

I took an 88 cent test from walmart the day before my period was due, and it was positive right away. Your test looks really positive I wouldn't waste money on another one.

Yes I used 4 from dollar tree all positive and I'm a little over 13 weeks...they're better than the expensive ones to me

Cheap ones are as accurate as the name brands. Only difference is you'll pay more for the name brand because their name. All work the same in my opinion. I'd say that's no false positive. Way too bold. Congrats.
