My toddler randomly developed a wet cough. No signs of illness prior. She got a itchy nose and slightly watery eyes at the beginning of this cough but that's it. I mentioned It to my sons pedi yesterday and he asked if the cough got worse in the mornings and evenings, to which I said yes, and he said it's probably allergies. I see her pediatrician tommorrow, but in the mean time I wanted to know if anyone has ever had whooping cough and what their experience with it was like. Did the cough get worse in the mornings and evenings? Did you feel like you had a cold prior? 

My son is only a month old and I am very very scared.
