Angelcare breathing/movement monitor?

I am thinking of buying this.... Any reviews? Has it made anyone on here less worried about SIDS. Has it helped anyone who's child stopped breathing?

I have used with 2 previous babies and have it this time round. I couldn't sleep without it lifesaver for sure 👌👌👌

My pedi said it's a false sense of security. He said if that helped me sleep better, then get it, but these monitors have never saved a baby. We decided to save our money.

Im looking into the snuza hero; has better reviews then the owlet for android, and I read a lot of reviews on the angel care about false alarms.

My SIL used this for her first and said it had a lot of false alarms and caused unnecessary worry for her. She switched to a regular video monitor for her second.

I think this would stress me out to much. It's normal for babies to have apneic period for 30 seconds. (Which I believe this one alerts for after that wait) but we are just doing a portable video monitor that I will keep by my bed. I'm breast feeding and don't sleep well in general so I'll be getting up frequently.

We had something similar to this and it constantly set off false alarms so we sent it back
