Had a big scare yesterday...I went to the washroom in the afternoon and there was bright red blood on the toilet paper when I wiped. It was more than just spotting. My husband took me to the hospital and we were there for hours. I didn't have any pain or cramping and the bleeding stopped after I first saw it. My HCG level was good at 9000 and the doctor did a pelvic exam and my cervix was closed which is a good sign. However, I had an ultrasound done this morning and they could see the gestational sac but couldn't see the baby. They have scheduled me for another ultrasound next week to see if anything changes and they can see the baby. I am so scared that I'm going to miscarry or that there is no baby there. My estimate is that i'm 6 weeks along. Does anyone have experience with this?
