Gender ultrasounds early?

Question

I'm planning on going in and getting mine at week 15. How accurate is this? Has anyone had any negative experiences? The place I'm going to has a high rate of being correct but I would hate to have my gender reveal party and find out at 20 weeks it's the wrong gender...

That's a little bit early. Is it 4d? My first baby we had the 2d scan around 18 weeks. None after that since my midwife doesn't offer them. It wasn't till the day of my son's birth that we found out we weren't having a girl! I had to pack away spool much pink! Even though I didn't register for any, people can't help themselves when it comes to girly baby outfits!

Both of my gender scans at 13/14 weeks have been accurate.
