Thick dark dry patches of skin on my neck and back can anyone help me out with this ?

Head and shoulders shampoo. Put some on a wash cloth and scrub. This is a type of fugus, the same type that causes dandruf. Use the head and shoulders on your skin everyday when you shower and you'll notice a difference within a week. Trust me and try it.
