Is it safe to use the patch after a possible blood clot?

I had a bad bladder and water infection with a lot of blood and I just read on here that someone had a CT scan and she had a blood clot in her bladder and that caused the bleeding? My doctor is useless they didn't send me for a CT scan and now I'm on the patch the last few days my stomach has been very painful. Should I take it off incase? I'll obviously go back to my doctor but for now what should I do?
