Braxton Hicks-what is it like???

I don't think I've had them!!! Can someone explain what it feels or looks like, and when you started getting them? I'm a FTM, 34 weeks, and though I've had the "lightning vagina" type of pain, I don't think I've had any contractions!

With BH usually your belly just gets real hard. You may find it a little more uncomfortable to move but it goes away in a few seconds. They typically aren't painful or anything like that.

They make your stomach feel rock hard to the touch and it feels like your stomach muscles are making a fist.

I seriously don't know if I feel them either. Occasionally I get a small tightening but it's so brief I almost don't notice. Kind of sad actually, I want to know if ANYTHING is happening.

I usually get them after I go the bathroom or stand up after sitting. It just feels like my belly gets really tight and hard and it feels uncomfortable, like a bowling ball got added to my already big belly. It lasts a few seconds and then goes always.

Apparently at my monitoring today they said that I had 2 mold contractions and I did not even feel it. Braxton hicks haha. I am 32+5

Same! I'll be 33 weeks Friday and I don't think I've experienced them yet. I'm curious what they actually feel like!
