What do you do about your breastmilk coming in if you know you'll be using formula?

I'm still pregnant, but multiple doctors have discouraged me from breastfeeding because of the pills I have to take, so I'm fairly certain already that my baby will be formula-fed. What am I supposed to do to handle breasmilk/stop it from coming? Will it hurt if I don't breastfeed or pump? Basically, how do I prepare for this?

My doctor said to wear the tightest bra I had or wrap my breasts.

My mom and drs told me a tight sportsbra around the clock for the first week.or so .. and cabage leaves .. dont apply heat and dont stand under hot water in shower running over breasts .. will only promote let down and production of more breastmilk

There's a tea called no more milk. I can't remember who makes it and I think it was roughly $16. I believe it has sage and some other herbs in it. Helped me!

Wear a tight sports bra and take benadryl around the clock for a week straight, then every other day for a week. Then it outta be completely gone :) worked perfect for me. No engorgement pain either :)

Ice. Warmth will encourage let down. Don't let water in the shower just run over your breasts. It causes stimulation. Snug bras. Loose clothing causes stimulation as well. As crazy as this sounds, tuck cabbage leaves in your bra. I swear by it.

What pills do you take? If you empty your breasts it'll teach them to keep making more so definitely don't pump. I've heard cold cabbage leaves and wrapping your boobs tightly (but not too tight) with an ace bandage helps!
