Anyone else eating chalky tums?

It seems like every night when I get in bed, heartburn hits! I hate it. Tums are the only thing my doctor said I could take. They aren't the best tasting and I feel like I'm chewing on not so good flavored chalk. 
Pick your color! More like pick your poison! Ha ha! 😷😷

Tums "smoothies" are better than regular tums.  They look the same, but aren't quite as chalky.

Drink milk before bed it helps, prop your head up and you can take Zantac. I personally love tums but it has a high calcium content witch is great for baby's bones an yours but can cause constipation. So if your going to stick with tums I suggest a high fiber diet and quite possibly taking colace as well

I'm eating tums everyday. A couple of times a day. Everything I eat heartburn. I'm 33 weeks now and I can't wait until it goes away.

I was then it stopped working for me.  Now I use pepcid ac my dr said it was fine.  I also drink milk,  and watch what I eat.  I know spicy foods,  before pregnancy, gave me acid reflux so I don't eat any.  Also a new pregnancy one for me is red sauces give me wicked heart burn.  So I'm very limited in those.

Drink milk and take Zantac. My doc prescribed me 150mg twice a day. It's the only thing that keeps me from suffering and waking up spewing acid lol

Every couple nights I have this issue too! I find sleeping in the recliner helps, as does eating tums. For me, chocolate, peanut butter, red sauce and sweets seem to cause this issue. I make sure to avoid all of those 4 hours before bed. Cheeze-its seem to be a late night snack that doesn't result in tums!
