Low lying placenta rant

So 2 weeks after having my anatomy scan I had an appointment with my ob. But this time it was a nurse practitioner and she was checking the results. She immediately freeks saying I have a low lying placenta and I'm on immediate pelvic rest. I was already planning to have a c section so that wasn't as shocking. But I went home and read up on what a low lying placenta is and possible outcomes. Bad idea, I ended up kinda freaking out. Now I know there is a high chance that the placenta might move, and I have plenty of time. But I'm surprised that my doc didn't catch it, and it's been two days since my apt and I haven't gotten a call like the nurse said I would. I have had 2 c sections and one normal birth, also my uterus is a retro uterus so plant of the risk factors are against me. I'm a bit frustrated with my ob. I have gone to midwives previously and never did I feel uncared for. I don't know what to do. I'm having thoughts of switching obs.
