Okay. So, I have noticed that with 2 major things going on in the world right now, everyone has made BOTH of them about race somehow. Why? This is my question, I'm not here to post hatred against another. Why can't we just worry about what's actually going on in the situation, rather than making it ALL ABOUT RACE? It's just annoying.
Example 1-
Harambe! The gorilla who was killed in his enclosure due to a young boy ending up in the animals "home." A lot of controversy started over the little boy being certain races. My favorite line was, "If the little boy was was black they wouldn't have killed the poor animal." Which... Wait a minute... Isn't he black? I mean, obviously he is. Why does it have to be about race? It's sad an animals life was lost, regardless. But it was an animals life versus a human beings life. No, he was not hurting the little boy at the time, but... Like ANY other animal, he could have turned at ANY point and the little boy could have been killed.

Example 2-
Brock Turner. This man was in college, doing great for himself. Then all of a sudden decided to rape an unconscious lady behind a dumpster. Now, there are TWO race topics to go with him. One I do understand, the other... Not so much. The first one- Argument is, when a black man has a rape crime, he's automatically given 10-15 years or more. Whereas, Brock, only got 6 months. This one makes me mad, and I do not understand the reasoning behind the court system doing this either. The second one- When a black man is in trouble, the first thing that is posted on the news is his mugshot. But, yet again, for Brock, they used his college picture to show on the news instead of his mugshot. This one aggravates me. Mugshot or not, his picture is on air, and he is, HOPEFULLY, officially humiliated. Not only that, but I feel no one was trying to be racist by using his school photo, but we're trying to say... "You'd be surprised at who does these things. Look, even he did it."

❗️AGAIN, DO NOT BE HATEFUL TOWARDS ME. I JUST DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY LITERALLY EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE HAS TO BE PORTRAYED AS RACIST. ❗️
What are your thoughts?
