Diapers? Are you stocking up?

Question

I was not really planning on buying many diapers before baby comes. I've heard all sorts of things about baby's not liking certain brands or the size of the diapers being an issue. What do you think? If you are buying them before baby comes, how are you deciding what sizes to buy? I wanted to use Honest brand and do their monthly subscription, but now I'm not sure!

I have been but I'm saving receipts. I'm just taping them to the box. I'm buying more wipes than diapers

We're gonna buy a good amount, and different brands. So if baby doesn't like/allergic to one we have the other on hand and can just take back any extras and exchange for the brand baby can use.

I'm not exactly stocking up yet. Getting a few here and there. But if you buy the packages from stores, you can exchange it later if they outgrow a certain size or if you want to swap for another brand...as long as the package is unopened of course. I don't know about Honest brand but it's worth a try I guess. I've always been a Pampers mom myself. Worked great for my kids.

Just keep your receipts and I'm pretty sure most places will allow you to exchange if you need a different size. For what it's worth my friend who recently had a baby said she disliked honest diapers the most of all the brands she has tried because they were bulky and less absorbent. I'd def try em before you do the subscription!

I'm not buying any newborn size because my son was almost ten pounds and didn't wear any. But I'm gonna stick up on Size 1 and 2 Pampers. That's what worked best for my son when he was an infant. Huggies always led to blow-outs. And yes, stores will always exchange them.

I'm in the same boat.  Not stocking up, especially until closer to the time. Hoping to have a little bit before baby, but I want it within the exchange or return policy window so I'm not stuck with them!

I'm on my 4th now so I know what brands usually work with my babies and what I like to use. Pampers I use only.in the newborn which I usually get 2 big boxes of those before baby is born and then after newborn I get luvs in all the rest sizes. I usually only get newborn sized before baby comes. My babies were under 8 pounds when born so they were in newborn diapers and clothes for the first 2 or so months. If you or daddy has skin irritants I'd wait and test out small packages of diapers first before stocking up or if doctor thinks you may have a larger baby.

Nope both my first two were allergic to pampers so after the belly button fell off we switched to huggies supreme .. This time I'm doing a mix of cloth as well .  Those I've bought a mix of
