Weight gain by 21 weeks?

Question

How much weight have you gained by 21 weeks? I've gained 9 pounds and feeling huge, but not sure if that's the amount that's recommended or not. I know you're supposed to gain some for a healthy babe, just not sure how much is the ideal amount.

I've gained 15+ pounds and I'm 21 weeks tomorrow and I started out at a healthy weight. I still get comments that I don't look pregnant. If you are staying active and trying to eat healthy I don't think you should be worried about what the scale says. Embrace the beautiful changes your body are going through to make your little miracle.

Ive lost 13... i weighed 230 when i found out, and now i am 217. Doctor said it wasnt a big deal, because of how nauseous i was in the beginning. I couldnt eat anything. Ive gained 2lbs back since then, but my belly has gotten huge! People are asking if there is more than one in there, and then shocked to find i have lost weight.. we have done 3 ultrasounds, and can still only find one baby, so we arent sure why i am so big, but weigh less.

5 pounds by week 21. It sounds like you'll be on track of you gain ~1lb a week from here on out.
But, hey, no one knows your needs better than you and your doctor.

I'll be 20 weeks tomorrow and I have gained 3-5lbs depending on my level of constipation 😖 I'm going to say though that I was overweight when I became pregnant. I also am trying hard not to gain much of anything because I know I don't need it. I gained 54 with my first, 47 with my second and 15 with my third. Every pregnancy is different, every body is different.
