When you hear the name "Reece" do you think of boy or girl?

We're having a boy and love the name but it can be spelled several ways. "Rhys" is the traditional Welsh spelling and it is strictly a man's name. However to us, it's harsh on the eyes and difficult for many to pronounce. "Reece" is more often associated with boys and "Reese" is more of a girl's name. We're concerned people will think he's a girl by his name and also not sure if "Reece" looks masculine/strong. Appreciate your thoughts!

My youngest daughter's name is Logan Reese:) I like boy names for my girls. My oldest is Haedyn Brooke.

My sons name is Rhys.  I love the spelling.  I think girl when I see it spelled Reece.  Only problem he's had is kids calling him reeces pieces but we made a big deal about buying him the candy and told him he didn't have to share with kids that made fun of him.  The nickname no longer bothers him.  Lol

It could be either. I had an ex boyfriend named Maurice and his friends called home Reese and I also have a female cousin named Cherise and we call her Reese.

I associate it with boys because my younger brother had a friend growing up named Reece and I've never met anyone else named Reece but him lol

I've never met a girl name Reece. So wouldn't ever associate with a girl

I like the name Reece...sounds like a boy name to me. I feel like when your kid gets to school their name will be mispronounced left and right if it's spelled Rhys, which could get annoying.
