24 hour labor 😳

Thursday I went in for my appointment only to find out that my doctor wanted to induce! after we walked around Toys R Us and ate we went to labor and delivery.. after spending ALL night on a slow drip of pitocin, they gave me an epidural and broke my water at 8am the next day. I was only 2cm dilated and 80% effaced 😳 I changed to 3cm around 1pm and the doctor started talking about a c-section. I was freaking out! 😳 by 5pm I was convinced I would have a c section.. then they checked again and I was 6cm and 100% effaced 😳 they waited until 7 to check again and I was 9cm 😳 I was so excited! an hour or so later my doctor said she didn't like what my daughters heartbeat was doing, so she went to check again.. only to find that her head was RIGHT THERE! they rushed all of the nurses in and got me started 😳 within 20 minutes and 6 contractions my daughter was here! weighing in at 7.7lbs and 21in, Charlotte ( Charli) Maye was born at 8:14pm on June 10th! I could not be more in love 😍
