I was my sisters birthing partner 😍

On Friday 10th June at around 8pm my sister called me to ask for a lift to the hospital because she was having contractions but unfortunately they were not close enough together, we went back to my place for a while, she was desperate for her little boy to make his entrance (she was 39 + 4) so after we'd sat for a while so she could just rest I drove her home, I decided to got the route with the most bumps 😂 I didn't think it would actually make a difference but an hour later or so later approx 11:30pm I got another call to say the contractions were coming thick & fast. When we got to the hospital we arrived at 12:06 at approx 1am she was examined & told she was 5cm dilated, 45 mins later at 1:45 she was at an 8. At this point she was desperate for an epidural but was told it is too late because she was progressing so fast the last 2cm took about 45 mins at approx 2:30am she started pushing she was adamant she couldn't do it but she was then told baby's heartbeat was dropping with each contraction, this was the moment her adrenaline kicked in & she put all her effort into getting him out, when he arrived it was such a beautiful moment to witness I am so proud of her, she did so well especially for her first labour.

I cannot believe I am now an auntie to 13! Can't wait to have my own.
