Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation Test Error
Hello! I'm new here and this is our first month ttc. I bought a Clearblue Advanced Digital ovulation test to avoid having to read lines. My cycle is usually 35 days, and Monday will be day 20 (perhaps I will ovulate on that day). I started testing earlier this week using the kit I bought. I have gotten all days with the clear circle (low fertility) which is to be expected.
The problem is that this morning I think I peed on the stick for too long and got an error. The symbol that appeared is a book with an arrow, which means you cannot use the holder again. I broke it! And today I was actually hoping for a High Fertility flashing smiley face. I tried calling Clearblue, but of course, they are closed because today is Saturday.
I don't know whether or not I should buy another of the same test kits. From what I understand, the kits establish a baseline and then show a High Fertility day when there is an LH and estrogen increase. If I go buy a new advanced digital kit today and I've already had the increase happen then the baseline will be inaccurate.
Suggestions? I'm not sure what to do.....should I get cheapies and then confirm with a digital?
