How do you know your in love?

I've been dating a guy for a while now and he says he loves me, but I just don't know if I do? Or if I don't?

Some part of me thinks I do but just don't know what love feels like?

Tbh I think there is also a difference between being in love and loving someone..
Being in love could be like the first stages.. Or just something that happens temporary..
Loving someone is just an unconditional feeling, it's feeling like the other person is your half and they complete you perfectly.
For you to find out if you like him.. Just ask yourself a few questions and decide:
So you like him physically?
Do tou see yourself with him in thw future?
Do you dream about things to do together, like: going on holiday together, moving in together?
Do you look forward to see him? 
Do you make efforts for him?

If you are questioning it, then you definitely don't. I'm sure you care about him and really like him though if you are dating him. But you will just know when you love someone, it's an undescribably feeling, but you will be sure of it.

I think it's different for everyone. For me, it's when I can't picture my life without them, I miss them while doing simple every day activities, I want to be my best for them, and I'm always concerned about their wellbeing and happiness.

You just know. My boyfriend now I started feeling the same way I did when I knew I fell in love with my first love. And it's where at this point I can't see myself without him. Even though there's been times I've thought about ending it I know I couldn't because I'd feel so empty if he wasn't there with me. And when I think about how I love him or talk about it I just get this good overwhelming feeling in my heart. It's just the thing when you know you know. But if you question it, I think you love him but you're not in love with him.
