Early delivery

How in the heck do some of you ladies get your babies to come so early?!?! 😩😣 I went to almost 42 weeks with my first and didn't dilate or anything on my own....Had to be induced......I know a lot have medical reasons but if you didn't have one, what did you do?!? I didn't have apps like this when I was preggo to ask lol
