Anyone implant 3 embryos with FET?

Doctor must thaw 3 embryos in case 1 doesnt make it. Should we implant 2 again or all 3???

May I ask why they'd thaw all 3 and not just one at a time until they get the right number of good eggs they need?? This is what they did for us. We implanted 1, and they thawed only that 1 the first time. The second time the first egg thawed was no good so the thawed a second. The added risks associated with a multiple pregnancy would make me question the safety of it. From what I was told, you have the same chance of each embryo implanting

I had 1embie 5 days old and 6embies 3 days old. My doctor decided to thaw 2 embies of 3 days and see if they grow util 5 days. (The plan was if only one grows from 3days then we thaw the 5day old embie we had to have two) They both made it and we transferred 2. However, one of these two divided and now I'm pregnant with triplets.

My doctor told me it is possible to refreeze.

This is my 4th time being a surrogate and each time they have always inserted two. But this is the 1st time BOTH IMPLANTED. UGH. twin pregnancy is no joke!!!

Doctor will counsel us when the embryos are thawed. Ideal is implanting 2.... However, if all 3 embryos are good quality, I need to decide whether to implant all 3 or discard 1. The doctor cannot refreeze it after its thawed. Im worried about discarding a "good one" that could develop.... At age 40 MC risk is very high and the chance of having triplets is less than 1% . My first fresh cycle only 1 egg took and i miscarried :-(

Are they day 3 or day 5?    How old were you when they were made?

If he has to thaw 3, you will lose the 3rd one if you only implant 2 right? I'd hate to lose one like that - who knows what a precious little one that could be 😊😇 We implanted 2 in a fresh transfer - now 30w4d with one little girl. We only have 1 in the freezer. Not an easy decision - wish you the best and success!

I have as a surrogate but only because the quality was very low and with the understanding that I could only carry two should all three implant.  Fortunately only one stuck.  If this hadn't been the 8th attempt for my couple (third try with me) I would have declined and only transferred two.  Only you can decide what's right for you, good luck.

My RE said she wouldn't feel comfortable so we defrosted 4/ transferred 2, let the other 2 grow to 5 days. Didn't make it to refreeze, we got pregnant with what we transferred. What does your RE say about 3? Is he/she okay with moving forward with that many?
