Temporary, cheap engagement ring?

The other night I was at Walmart looking at rings on the rotating thing. And I asked my boyfriend to come pick one out for me. I didn't know that they were engagement rings and they were $9! Is it wrong to want him to buy me a $9 dollar engagement ring for now until we are ready to actually get married and show it off as if we were actually engaged?

Why should price matter I am so mad people (not you) make a big deal about the price like come the Frick on. Obviously if you care so much about the price you don't care about the relationship.

I'm the same way!! I told my SO that I'd be happy with a cheap engagement ring from Walmart. I told him I'd be happy with just about anything. But he says that I "deserve better than that" and he wants to get me more expensive ring. He doesn't get it. 😑

Put a coat of clear nailpolish around it so it wont turn your finger green! And no its fine! Consider it a promise ring if you may.. Which does not have to be expensive... And even if it is an engagement ring, who cares? Its not the price that matters.

They will turn your finger green. I had a set that was $14 and my finger turned green right away.

Haha i did it!! Be then agian it was because i didnt want people to look at me werid when i was at a hotel with my boyfriend. But it was pretty ans everyone thought it was real.
