How long did it take?

Question

My husband and I recently started TTC. I was curious how long it took everyone to conceive on average? I am nervous because it took my mother ages to concieve all of us and we are very similar in our AF so I am worried that it will take a while for myself as well. We have only been trying for a month and I have been on birth control for about 10 years (IUD the last 4) so I don't know anything about my ovulation or even if I am regular or not. So, I just wanted some inspiration that it might not take as long as I am worried it will.

10 months with my 2nd and currently month 7 on ttc #3 and I'm 80% sure I got a VVVfl earlier today at 2pm. Testing in the morning

We got pregnant way fast!  Literally, I went off the pill, had a period, and on week later I was pregnant.  We were intentionally trying but way shocked that it happened so immediately.  That is NOT normal.  It's a thing common in my family(momma got pregnant on her honeymoon) but not for anyone else I've talked to.

It took us 9 months to get pregnant with our daughter. We had a chemical the first month, and an early miscarriage the 4 month though.
I'm hoping this time around goes smoother!

For our first successful pregnancy it was about a year, maybe a little longer but around that. In that time I had two miscarriages before successfully conceiving and delivering our son. After he was born I had the nonhormonal IUD put in, we didn't want to have our babies to close together. Anyways.. Had the IUD removed this past January since our son turned 2 in March we were ready to TTC again. I got pregnant within three months. I'm 12wks now and all seems well. You may be surprised and get pregnant sooner, good luck! 😊
