Irritable uterus?

I've been in labor and delivery for almost 5 hrs trying to get contractions stopped as I am only 28+3. They gave me a shot to stop the contractions and I am just waiting to be discharged now. The dr told me that I have an irritable uterus. Anyone have any information or experience with this?

I had one last pregnancy. Drink LOTS of water and take it EASY! Doing that I lasted until 40 weeks!

I've been drinking 64-87oz of water a day. Lol I feel like I'm drowning myself in it! Taking it easy is easier said than done. I'm a full time SAHM to a very active boy who will be 2 in January. The dr told me absolutely no caffeine anymore and if I start having symptoms again go straight back to l&d.
