People these days..
Well today my family and I went swimming. My husband and I pull in to the park first and wait on my parents and brother to arrive, right after we pull in we see another family going in, not thinking anything of it. My family shows up 15 minutes later and parks near where they did. We go and talk for awhile before heading in and mom says "Did you hear a dog?" We all said "No.." So we listen for it, and sure as shit there was a dog in that van. It was in the back, in a crate, the crate was mostly covered by a blanket and a stroller was in front of it. The windows were barely cracked, there was no air flow and the temperature today was 90° with a real feel higher than that. So what do I do? I call the police, who calls the animal department, by the time they get there the dog was in there for almost 45 minutes with no water. The dog DOES get taken away. They had the nerve to argue with animal control about it being in there, that they figured it would be fine! I thank God we went to the water park today because my mom almost talked us out of it. Because we went, we saved that little dogs life.
People, DO NOT leave your animals in the car!! Temperatures rise quickly, it was panting before animal control even got there!!
