I had a c section and since I knew I would be staying 3-4 days I bought 2 extremely soft and comfortable gowns from a local Hanes outlet as well as a pajama set (shorts and button up. I also packed a nursing bra and new colorful socks lol...this was me getting into the car the day I was released.

Sweat pants or pajama pants with maternity tops or a gowns and dresses are the most comfortable things. You'll want loose fitting clothing. Things don't just bounce back to normal and you'll be in pain for the first week or so. I find yoga pants to be too restricting. They're tight enough as it is and you'll have those big huge maxi pads to wear, you'll most likely want as little pressure as possible down there.

I didn't personally change until I went home with my first because I had a catheter and it was just easier to stay in the gown. 
This time I'm packing some nursing pj's, and then some leggings, a tank top and a relaxed fit t-shirt for going home. (A tank/t-shirt combo makes it really easy to nurse discreetly without using a cover. Just lift the t shirt and pull down the tank top to free your boob 😊)

I literally wore yoga shorts and a tank top my entire stay at the hospital and then really baggy yoga pants home. You want something that's easy to take on and off (if you're breast feeding) and something that isn't hard on your stomach. I ended up needing a c section and my normal yoga pants hurt too much to wear!

I bought a gown at maternity motherhood to wear after delivery but first ima try to shower then i bought a sweats amd sweater and tank top from aeropostale to come out the hospital with that and take a nursing bra too and some walmart undies since i dont want to get my vs undies with stains lol
