Swimming in pool..?

Can I swim in a pool before my 6 week postpartum checkup? I'm currently 3 weeks postpartum and my bleeding stopped at 2 weeks. We wanted to put our pool up this coming week. 
Any of you momma's gone swimming before your checkup?

My dr said I could go swimming and use my hot tub as soon as the bleeding stopped! ☺️

My doc said no swimming before 6 weeks. I wasn't even allowed to take a bath with more than 3 inches of water. They want to make sure your cervix is closed or you can get an infection.
