Membrane sweep? Help!

How fast after getting your membrane stripped can you go into labor? I was 2-3cm dialated last week Monday and have another appointment this Monday morning to check cervix and to do a membrane sweep. Thank you!!!

I had mine done Thursday and I was dilated to a 3.5, 60% effaced. No baby yet 😓

I havent been swept before but two of my friends have. They were both 39 weeks. One  started having contractions 30 min after and had her baby the next day and the other one nothing happened for two weeks. Really just depends on the person i think!
