Am I over reacting??

Question

Okay so my boyfriend of 1 and a half years is currently on holiday with his guy mates. He hardly has spoken to me since he left (Thursday, I basically broke down in floods of tears cause I didn't want him to leave) and yesterday I face timed him and his friend was in the back ground making stupid comments and apparently only joking about them taking drugs (he knows I hate him taking drugs and he promised he wouldn't) then his friend was like 'HES ON HOLIDAY LEAVE HIM ALONE' and 'come on fuck her off were going out' and I burst into tears and had to hang up. I told him I was upset and he didn't even bother to call me back or text me? Out of anger I tweeted some things how I was annoyed and he is pissed off at me tweeting it because it was all 'just a joke' am I over reacting or would you guys be hurt too???

I don't think your over reacting at all. I would be so hurt and angry if my boyfriend did this to me, as soon as my boyfriend knows I'm upset he will always ring me back or text me and talk to me about it. Your boyfriend should do the same for you! He should care about your wellbeing and make sure your okay! Maybe it could be his friends influencing him not to message you back and such because it sounds like they don't want him to be talking to you while he is on holiday. But he is your boyfriend so no matter what he should be checking up on you to see if you are okay. Hoped this helped xx
