Ttc after Depo

I want to get pregnant. But i have heard so many terrible stories about people not being able to conceive after taking depo. I took the depo shot for the first time 2 years ago I took it twice. Then I decided not to take it again. I started the patch as a form of birth control. Then I stopped. Then this past May I decided to take the shot again! I didn't take it again after that because I want to have a baby! I have had periods since then but they are really light and sometimes last more than 5 days! Does anyone have any advice???
