Political parties

Ky
Imo, political parties just make everyone fight about everything, especially in the election. I don't consider myself to be a democrat or a republican. I have opinions from both sides, and a lot of opinions that I'm in the middle about/unsure about. I know a lot of people that will only vote for their party. "If Bernie doesn't win, I'll vote Hillary" "if Trump doesn't win, I'll vote Cruz" and I don't like that mindset. If you really like the candidate, then vote for them. If you only like the candidates that are from your party, then vote for them. But why vote for only the people in your party? I'm not saying you have to like other candidates, or that you have to vote for the other party if the candidate you wanted doesn't make it so that it'll be even, I'm just saying give it a chance if you don't do that. Don't just simply ignore the other choices because you're conservative and they're liberal, or because you're democrat and they're republican. You could end up really liking them and supporting their views, but if you don't give everyone a chance, then you'll never know and you may end up voting for someone you don't even like just because you share the same political party.
