Anyone have a baby that was born with this?

My babyboy was born with a red birthmark on his upper cheek....Anyone else have a baby that was born with this

Awwww My daughter had one in her bottom lip and it is called a Hemangioma. (Cluster of blood vessels near the skin surface) Hers was just a pink or reddish birthmark at first and by the time she was one it had grown and raised up off her lip about 3 or 4cm. Now she is 7.5 and it's shrunk and barely noticable. It's painless and doesn't cause any issues as long as it doesn't grow too large and press on his eyes etc. :)
I took my daughter to Children's Hospital on my own free will to be evaluated and monitored over 3 years. I wasn't sure how much it would grow? The Dr's usually don't do anything to treat it. Except there is a liquid you can apply 1x per day to help shrink it. Or if it's grown a lot like I mentioned above you can have surgery to remove it. :) But they say most of the time by age 5 it has shrunk and is gone.

I had them as a baby. A few on my back, butt and legs as well. The one on my face faded by age four. The one on my neck by age 30. The ones on my body are almost gone at 35.

My baby was born with a Mongolian spot on his butt! It's a greenish blue birthmark. I freaked! But it goes away before adulthood.

The whole back of my hubby's neck looks like that. I tease him that this baby is gunna look sunburnt, just like his daddy!

My sister has one on her neck it was huge when she was born but now at 22 it looks like a faded hickey. I had one on my face that faded before I was 2. I wouldn't stress too much they are normal.

My little brother who is now 20 had one on his shoulder. It slowly disappeared over the years and you wouldn't even know now.
They will probably keep an eye on this one as it is on the face xx
