New High Risk Mom
Hey I'm a new high risk mom...My previous pregnancy my baby had a heart defect.... So they are monitoring me closely now... I'm a little confused because I've noticed my doctor has ordered all these chromosome screens and my last pregnancy was normal until I found out about the heart defect they even preformed an autopsy and everything with my baby came back normal except his heart... I'm 27 and pretty healthy and so is the baby's dad...
Is this just a normal process to being high risk?
I opted out of all genetic testing the last time and would do it again because the heart defect was not genetic just a fluke thing that occurred. 1 in 10000 babies.
