Looking for feedback!

I'm 24 years old and married. My husband and I have decided we want to try and conceive. I currently have a three year old son from a passed relationship which came as a total shock. I was told I couldn't get pregnant because I have pcos. Well the doctors ended up putting me on metformin. After I left his father for many reasons I found out two months later I was 8 weeks pregnant. Now after not having my period for a year and a half I finally got it out of the blue and yesterday was my last day. I never had the chance to "plan" for pregnancy but I'm just looking for helpful tips and insight. Today I bought ovulation tests as well. Thanks!
