Induced labor horror story - daughter born May 9th 2016
So as my due date approached April 29th and my daughter was still not here my doctor scheduled me to be induced. I went into the hospital on May 5th to be induced I was 41 weeks 1 day. When I arrived to the hospital I was only a fingertip dilated so they decided to give me cervodil the next morning the took out the cervodil and started me on pitocin. That night they noticed it did not do anything for me so they again inserted another cervodil and next morning again started me back on pitocin to yet again have this process fail again. My problem was I wasn't dialating but I was having constant contractions about 2 minutes apart. After already being there for two nights and about to go on my third night they decided to let me rest one night and insert the balloon catheter in me the next day to dialate me. The next day after the balloon catheter finally deflated my water broke almost immediately and finally all day on Mother's Day was the worse pain of my life. I ended up having her one hour after Mother's Day on May 9th at 1AM after 4 and a half hours of pushing the doctor thought I would need a c section. I wasn't going to allow myself to have a c section when I had been through all of this for 3 nights and four days I was determined to push her out. I ended up with a episiotomy and 4th degree tear with the use of the vaccum which ultimately almost lead to me needing a blood transfusion because of all the blood I lost. It's taken me a while to actually write this horror story down because it was so tramatic for me. I had to stay in the hospital for a total of 7 days because of my 4th degree tear. Today I can say I wouldn't change a thing and would do it all over again if I had too. I love my daughter more then anything and I thought this process would make me never want to have another child but all she has shown me is how badly I want more children after her. Our bodies are amazing and can do anything as women ❤️❤️

This is her at one month June 9th 2016
