Miscarriage birth

Hello ladies just wanted to share my birth story even if it didn't have a happy ending. Yesterday morning my day started out with cramps and slight bleeding. I called the Ob and spoke to my nurse practitioner (my ob takes Monday's off) and she told me she would see me at 4 pm and she didn't seem concerned. Around 3 that day my water broke and my husband rushed me to the er. I received a trans vaginal ultrasound that revealed all of my water was gone and my sweet baby's heart beat was at 89. I was taken to labor and delivery to wait for my baby to arrive. I had horrible contractions all evening and they took another ultrasound to see where he was and he was still in my womb with a weak heart beat. I tried to sleep and woke up around 3 am because my contractions were picking up and they gave me morphine for pain. At around 430 am I went to the bathroom because I had an overwhelming urge to vomit even though they did not let me eat. As soon as my stomach pushed to throw up I felt something in my birth canal. I rang the emergency cord the doctor came in and said his feet were hanging out. I pushed twice and my baby boy was born at 16 weeks and 5 days. The hours that followed were some of the worst in my life trying to deliver the placenta. I gushed blood and clots for over an hour and no placenta the doctor came back contemplating surgery but she checked me and said she could feel the placenta so she shoved her whole hand past my cervix to pull it down. After a few more pushes and a lot more painful pulling my placenta was finally delivered. We spent the whole day with our baby boy and we just said good bye a few hours ago. This was our first baby and my heart is shattered.
