Is it good to just quit smoking cold turkey while being pregnant in the first trimester?

I quit cold turkey with my last pregnancy and this one I gradually weind off.  Both were hard. I haven't smoked for 2 days and I'm dieing but I know it has to be done!! :). This time I vow to myself to never start smoking again!

I quit cold turkey when I found out at 5/6 weeks and everything is fine. I've heard that if you smoke into your second trimester it's better to ween yourself off.

Definatly not easy, but I didn't even consider any other option once I got my BFP! I've heard that quitting cold turkey actually pretty hard on your body & in turn baby, but that may just be an excuse. I quit 2 weeks ago & I'll admit it sucks & I really want one, but there's no way I'd give in! Stay strong mommies ??

I quit cold turkey with first and my 2nd I had one after I found out and with this one I didn't have a problem I quit before I even took the test

I quit cold turkey with my first. But this one I weened down day by day. It's been a little over a week and I'm smoke free. I think the guilt helps to stop too. Struggle or no struggle you think about the baby.
