Am I the only one who thinks love isn't about feelings. It's about comfort and peace?

Like what happens when all those butterflies go away? It's about being comfortable and happy in your life. Someone today yelled at me when I said this because I am in love with my boyfriend and it isn't lovey dovey all the time. He comforts me and makes me feel safe, he makes my life very peaceful when everything is so rough. We have our lovey dovey moments but not 24/7. I feel uneasy about this lady telling me that I was bored in my relationship because it's not the honeymoon phase all the time. Am I the only one who feels this way?
