Help?! 😢

So my friend who lives in the Up state New York (I live around Toronto ON Canada) been pretty depressed lately so much so he's considering hurting himself and he's told me this morning he was taking acid (LSD) as a way to cope his depression he's telling me taking acid ain't a big deal and stuff and really worried he can either overdose or do something really stupid like commiting a serious crime while he's on drugs He's never acted this way before and I'm kinda worried cuz I'm not physically there to help him what should I do???

The reason why suicide is illegal is so that the police can intervene if they get a tip that someone may kill themselves. If u really think ur friend may make that decision, call the local police in his area and they can help him. If it's not that serious then try to talk him through whatever he's going through and see if it's any help.

Oh nooo this is not good I had a friend do that in high school and it messed him up mentally he was never the same it was almost like he was lost all the time tell him how much it hurts you to hear him using dangerous drugs and see if you can coax him to see a dr

Lsd connects you with the world. It makes you gain a higher appreciation for light and color and the out doors, it allows you to throw peace signs instead of shade so to say. It gives you a perspective on what really matters and what doesn't. As long as acid isn't over used ( and I don't mean how many tabs I mean how often it's being taken) it litterally can be exactly what your friend said helpful to overcome sadness. It mentally puts you in a better place for weeks on after you take it. acid litterally is nothing how people think it is before doing it. It just makes you smile and laugh uncontrollably, makes you adventurous, and happy. You don't loose control of yourself you don't do stupid shit you wouldn't do sober ( other than the obsessive laughing ) but it's genuinely a really good time and an experience I once thought everyone should be subjected too atleast once. But acid isn't for all people, I've definently learned that. Some people aren't at the right state of mind and it's too much for them. The best way I can describe acid is feeling every emotion at the same time and it being hilarious. Personally I love acid. The first time i ever did it I was at a park not knowing what to expect, an hour went by and I thought to myself ok this isn't going to work. As soon as I pulled out of the park it slapped me in the face I was tripping balls, but still drove home. And was fully capeable of driving. To each their own but I wouldn't worry too much.
