Cloth diapers?

Question

Any moms out there use them? I'm tempted to try cloth ones with baby #2 but I'm not too sure. Feedback is greatly appreciated!

I am still doing cloth with our first (she's 2). We have only spent about $200 on diapering (minus soap and water). We didn't cloth the 1st 3 months since you are changing baby 8-10 times a day! Too much when dealing with feelings and everything else! We are happy with our choice and plan on using the same diapers for #2!

I love cloth diapering and tell everyone I meet about it! I use sunbaby, bumgenius, flip, gDiapers and I've even made my own! They save you so much money and they are so adorable for those hot summer days of living in a diaper! My husband and I had made a poop pact that if there is poo I will clean the diaper off he just has to place it in the designated area. It's worked out well for us! I started cloth around 4 months on baby #1 because the kind I hs were too big and it was all so new to me. (Be careful researching it gets crazy out there) but now I know what brand I need for baby #2. I'm going to get THX newborn

What brands do you ladies prefer and do your SO think it's gross to use cloth? My hubby is completely against it but I'm a SAHM so I'd be doing most of the dirty work.

I used Soft Bums with my first until we potty trained at 20 months.  I plan on using the same diapers with our second.

I wanted to go cloth fully, but we didn't get many cloth diapers at first and got a ton of disposables. I now have more and could probably go full time with it now, but haven't made the switch yet. I use cloth at night though and love it. Less diaper rash, less leaks, holds more too so it's great for bed. My DH and MIL aren't really on board so that's the main reason I haven't gone full cloth. MIL lives with us on occasion (she travels between her 3 sons' homes). I will do cloth with number 2, but not until after the first few weeks. I don't have any newborn diapers and disposables are easier when you first bring baby home.

We used disposables with our first till we switched when he was about 9 months. I wish I would of done it sooner. It saved so much money. They are so cute too with all the colors and patterns. We are going to cloth with baby number two from the get go. 
To add to that. I'm also a stay at home mom. So I can keep up on it. It also takes a wile to get in the swing of things. When we got our first poopy diaper we freaked lol.   There is so much info behind cloth diapers that it is overwhelming but I believe well worth it.

Oh, and there are probably classes and such in your area if you look. It can be overwhelming when you  see all of the choices!!

I used them till my first was 5 months old.  When she started getting solid pooo and urinating more i changed. But loved them and huge money saving
