Is 13/16 too much of an age difference??

13 and 16 isn't too much of an age difference, but what it does depend on is the maturity level. 13 is just turning a teenager and 16, they are just very horny and they want to have sex with anything that walks by. But that's my opinion

I personally feel if you're 13 you shouldn't be worried about boys.  Especially a 16 year old boy. He's going to be horny all the time pressure you into doing something you're not ready for.

3 years doesn't seem like much of a difference later on in life, but be careful when you're 15 and they are 18. Most states only allow a 2 year age difference once one person in the relationship is a legal adult.

It's 3 years but I was not the same person at 13 years as I was at 16 years. It's not too much of an age difference more like too much of an experience/emotional difference. Can lead to pressured sexual acts or even him cheating because you're young and both still immature.

I'm 15 so I'm kind of in the middle of those 2 ages. And I would say yes. At 13, you've just become a teenager your hormones are going crazy because they've just hit, and it's a really confusing time in your life. At 16, you can drive, have a job, and you're trying to balence everything. I know 13 year old boys are annoying, but stick to dating just a year above, for now. I wouldn't trust a 16 year old who dated a 13 year old, just saying.

The age difference itself isn't a big gap its only 3 years but the fact one of you (according to the UK where I'm from) is of age, legal to be having sex which is 16 and the other is 13, so its not really acceptable. But as long as your not doing anything sexual should be okay, but not advised.

Yes it is. One is in middle school or barely a freshman and the other is in high school. No normal 16 yr old would date a 13 yr old
