Update: bleeding while pregnant
Earlier I posted about having period like bleeding at 26 weeks pregnant. Well I ended up going into L&D immediately after work just to get checked out, and after 4 hours of waiting, we were told our tests had come back positive for preterm labor and that all other tests for any infections were negative. They gave me a shot in the back of the arm to stop the contractions since I was having contractions that I didn't even know about, and ordered a trans and abdominal ultrasound to check baby's position and cervix. They said everything liked good on both, just that my cervix did seem to be thinning out a little, but not dilated. They gave me a shot in the back to help the baby's lungs mature, and I have to go back tomorrow evening to get the second dose. They sent me home for right now as that hospital is not properly equipped to deliver babies user 32 weeks and said that if I am to go into labor they would have me drive to another hospital 30 minutes out that was more equipped to care for me and a premature baby, instead of risking anything while transporting us. They also sent me home because my contractions had let up, and told me to rest, follow up with my doctor since my doctor does not deliver at the hospital I had drove to, and drink plenty of fluids. Any of you ladies ever been in this situation and carry to term?
