5w6d ultrasound
We had our first ultrasound today. Thought I was only 5w3d but I'm measuring a little ahead. We are getting early monitoring because I had a Blighted Ovum earlier this year which we found out about when I went to my first ultrasound at 9 weeks. There was only a sac with nothing inside :(
Wellll all we could see today was the gestational sac and the yolk sack. Couldn't see a fetus. Is this normal for being this far along?! Our tech was not helpful at all. She told us exactly nothing. Anyone else have something similar happen and go on to be okay? I know it's still early, but I really thought we'd see at least a little something. At least there was a yolk sack this time.
I have a follow up scan in two weeks but I can feel myself worrying that things will end up the same as before :( please send positive thoughts our way.
