Birthing center/water birth!?

Anyone wanting to have their baby at a birthing center or have a water birth? I really want to do a water birth at a birthing center. I'll be working with a midwife 😊 nervous to set up my first appointment. Just wanted to make friends with some ladies who are doing the same thing! ❤️ this is my first baby

I wanted to do a birth center but we can't afford it :( I hate hospitals, but that's what we're gonna have to do... I'm hoping we can at least afford a doula. ❤️

It really depends on insurance. I want to at minimum labor in the bath so we're considering home birth, birthing center, and a natural hospital birth (as long as they have a tub). But I really don't like hospitals so it's my last option personally. Birthing center is my number one option. :)

I'm hoping to have a water birth. My sisters had home water births for their kids and it was amazing to witness. I meet with the midwife next month and am going to suggest it. I've heard great things about the water relieving contraction pressure.

I've wanted to do a water birth since I was a birthing partner for my best friend a while ago, although I won't be doing it at a birthing centre it'll be at hospital. This is my first pregnancy 5 weeks 6 days

Not sure if I want to do this or natural birth in hospital.  Leaning toward natural in hospital but water sounds so comforting...

That was my plan with my last one but I live so far from the birth center that I never made it (you can read my Hwy delivery in the birth story section hahahaha). So this time I am going to try and make it to the hospital and do a water birth there with my midwife!

I'm hoping to have the baby at a birth center, we won't do a water birth but I for sure will labor in the bathtub!

I did a water birth with my first and all natural with my second. It is great! I have a wonderful midwife and a amazing doula!
