Wednesday I went in for my first OB appointment, I should've been 8w 3days. I know my dates aren't wrong, I've been a stickler about keeping track and noting my symptoms, when they started, implantation happened when it should've, etc...

On the ultrasound (I asked for abdominal because the transvaginal freaks me out) they saw the yolk sac, measuring at only 5 weeks and no embryo. And here's where my hold up is..my hcg is 32,165.

My last miscarriage, the baby stopped at 5 weeks also, but my hcg was only in the 7,000s. Why would my body continue for that long!??

I am having another lab drawn today and we will see what the hcg does, but I am just so hesitant to believe it could be miscarriage again especially since they're saying 5 weeks and that high of hcg. Also with my last miscarriage at around 5 weeks, the baby was still in the sac, and visible on ultrasound, which was a transvaginal.

I come on here and see other ladies who have an early abdominal scan like this and then go back for a transvaginal and there's a healthy baby growing with a heart beat...ugh! I'm so nervous. I don't have any bleeding or any signs that this could be miscarriage. I am lactating, boobs are sore, my head pounds and I get dizzy when I stand, I have symptoms this time, as where my last pregnancy I did not have them!

This mostly was just a way for me to vent it out, but does anyone else think there may still be hope and i should go back in for a transvaginal ultrasound!? I'll see what the labs say first, but if they're still going up, I think definitely another ultrasound??
